It doesn't make any sense. It's already happening with frozen chicken though. Always read the labels. I don't eat meat very often, but when I do buy chicken, I always make sure it's fresh, and labeled "Hatched, Raised, and Processed in the U.S." “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ~Seneca You can lead the Democrats to knowledge, but you can't make them think. |

Hopefully they take their low IQ hairy greasy asses back S of the US border. Without their chicken factory job their WIC, food stamps and HUD housing won't go as far. Of course the fucked up gov in this country may just increase their welfare to cover whatever they were making at the chicken processing farm though. It would not surprise me at all if that happened. |

Outsourcing Chicken Slaughtering To China Could Come With Safety Risks, Experts Say October 13, 2015 11:36 PM UPDATED 10/14/15 4:56 p.m. NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — At a time when more and more consumers are looking to buy locally grown foods, you may be shocked to find out the road that your chicken will travel to reach your dinner table. As CBS2’s Maurice Dubois reported, it’s part of an effort to save some large poultry manufacturers money, but food safety experts are crying over the long distance chicken. When you buy chicken at your favorite supermarket it typically travels about a thousand miles to get there, but soon that same chicken will travel up to 15,000 miles. While the big shots keep the good stuff for themselves. I don't eat meat or use dairy milk, but I feel sorry for people who will be affected. With the TPP, Canada will be importing millions of litres of milk, dairy farmers are SOL except for $4 billion in government subsidies to compensate them. You should see the gigantic carrots imported from China. They probably suck up all the chemicals from the soil, then people unknowingly eat them. |
