For one week in December, between finals and end-of-semester goodbyes, students in one college dorm take turns singing holiday tunes to strangers.

Around-the-clock, they man the phones, taking requests for songs from people all over the world seeking a little bit of holiday cheer.

So, if in the middle of the night, you have a hankering for a live, likely out-of-tune, rendition of Jingle Bells, someone is out there ready to sing it for you.

The students will be singing until 11:59 p.m., Dec. 16. So pick out your favorite holiday song, give them a call at (217) 332-1882, and prepare to be serenaded.

My son-in-law, who recently has been caught cheating on my middle daughter, moved out last night, a week before Christmas.The police were called, as he came home from work, and immediately started to batter my daughter.
My daughter and 3 grandchildren have been left with virtually nothing, and I am in no financial position to help them.

If I hadn't been there, she would have definitely got hurt bad. He has moved out. My daughter is going to the prosecutor to press charges. This is not the first time he has battered her, but this will be the last.
My son-in-law has threatened us, and this is not the first time on that, either. He threatens to kill my daughter, his kids, then come over to my home, and kill me, my husband, and my other 2 daughters. I am going to the prosecutor with my daughter.

Your prayers helped my wife with breast cancer now we are having major problems with a land lord of 20 years. I need a better job to afford to move out. No body wants a 65 year old. Just looking for some luck. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all the GLP Family.
