Every day, multi-thousands of Christians have experiences that, if told and heard, not only give God Glory, but would also help to encourage others.

Unfortunately, there are few places where a person can read or hear about them.



The Moody network has a radio show on 5 nights a week (11 pm to 5 am - Sun > Thurs) hosted by Kurt Goff.

Each night is a different topic, with listeners who call in and give testimonies etc...

Within a couple of days, each "show" is archived (minus the music etc..) on this page.

Each is about 2 1/4 - 3 hrs long, and has a short paragraph about the topic.

Emergency prayer needed !!!

I just got a call. My daughter Elizabeth has gone into early labor.She is a little over 6 months along. She is at the hospital, and her labor is 2 minutes apart. I am stuck here at home without a vehicle, as my youngest borrowed mine because hers is in the shop.
My youngest just gave me a call, and she is leaving work now, but she works 30 miles from here. I am going crazy. I got to get to the hospital.

PLEASE storm heaven, my friends !!!

In the name of Jesus Christ we proclaim and pray for Elizabeth and the baby.

My wife, an ordained minister, I called her over and she is speaking in tongues on her knees after I told her a friend from my prayer threads is having emergency.


Cole family is standing firm.

I just got back from the hospital. Elizabeth's labor has stopped, THANK GOD !They have run tests, and everything seems to be OK.The only thing they can find wrong is blood in her urine, so she is getting antibiotics IV.
They are keeping her, and the doctor will see her in the morning.
I have to get some sleep, just in case I got to run to the hospital again. If everything stays stable with Elizabeth, I will go to church in the morning, then to my mothers to help her out, and then to the hospital to see Elizabeth.
FYI, the ultrasound shows that she is having a boy !

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for being with this family , we ask this baby boy and mother stay healthy and this was a simple infection that leaves and does not return , bless this family with a beautiful , healthy , smart boy in Jesus name amen

Numbers 14...
Moses was a amazing man that God used. This is a strong chapter , it shows many things about humans and God ... We tend to want the past as a refuge even though it was not a good or safe place to be. There where many sent out to spy the land and only two saw the good and not the bad , that narrow road Jesus told us about.

Numbers 14: 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

This world is no different than in that story, we strive to be and see as Joshua and Caleb did.
When we strike out on our own and leave God out of the plans as we see in this story , we lose protection. God wanted to disinherit them but Moses is amazing how he explains what would happen if He did. Moses understood people and loved God enough to endure all he did to Glorify God's Name...

God loved Moses and listened, He still does. God reminds us in this chapter, He showed these people many wonderful things and yet how fast we can turn and follow the wrong crowd. We can see why God gave us Jesus like He gave these people Moses. God was not happy with the ones that went back and brought back an evil report.
37Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the Lord.
38But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.
Evil in this story was not having the eyes of Joshua and Caleb, they saw milk and honey , they had faith to say this...

8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

To live in this world we have the same choice as they had, to face the enemy on our own or with The Lord. To see and report of the Promise Land in a world of evil , is life...Hebrews 11

He urged the crowd to read the Bible for themselves, saying it's impossible to read it cover to cover and think that there will be no judgement.

"I know it's not fun. But if we're going to lose our lives the Bible says when you do that, that's when you're going to find it."

I am going back to the hospital. After we left last night, Elizabeth went into labor again twice, and they gave her shots to stop the labor. She just gave me a call from the hospital.She is in labor again.I called my brother and one of my friends from church. I am going back to the hospital as soon as I take the dog out. PLEASE PRAY !!!

I will update later. I do not have a smart phone, just a flip phone so I cannot access GLP until I get home.

The labor and bleeding have stopped, and they have discharged my daughter from the hospital. They have given her the maximum of a drug to stop her labor, that is allowed in a 24 hour time frame.If she goes into labor again before tomorrow morning, there is no way to stop it.
She feels awful, to say the least. Her back is still hurting, and she generally feels sick.The shots to stop the labor were very painful. She said she had a terrible burning feeling for about 15 minutes after each shot.
She is supposed to rest, and not do a blasted thing.
I have left my gates open to my driveway, as I got to be prepared to take her to the hospital quickly,if needed.
The baby looks healthy, and his vitals are good.He is small. They estimate him at 2.6 pounds right now, which is small for this stage of pregnancy.But, OTOH, all of us are petite, so this doesn't really bother the medical staff. All of us have small babies too, around 6 pounds full term.

I am exhausted.

Heavenly Father in Jesus ' Mighty Name,
We lift up this entire family to Your Throne in Heaven. We ask that You grant wisdom to the covering doctors and healing to the mother and unborn son. You are our Creator and nothing is impossible with You!

Elizabeth napped for a few hours this afternoon.She says she is feeling better,and is not having any more bleeding or pain.
I took a nap too, as I didn't exactly get any kind of real sleep last night. I am totally drained.I feel bad I couldn't go to church today, or go over to my mothers to help her out like I do every Sunday after church,but my daughter and unborn grandson are my priority right now.Elizabeth lives across the alley from me, so if she has a problem, I can get there in a minute, literally.

Tomorrow evening at 4:30-4:55pm central time, and for the next 4 Mondays afterwards, I will be doing a short radio show on the local AM station, against the local school referendum. Numbers 15
When I read the first part of this chapter , I thought about the gift of being a good Chef and how God created us to love sweet smells as He does.
We see that disobedience always has a penalty. God allows for us to mess up, but has zero tolerance for things we do knowing it was wrong, anything presumptuously is the word used.

We should be grateful every Sabbath that Jesus keeps us from death, as the man picking up sticks. That even seems very harsh and unfair in our way of thinking , God was setting a standard. God goes on to say He knows our hearts are always inclined to leave His camp and go the way of the world. The tassel command shows us His love and understanding of our weakness. Those tassels must have been very pretty with the blue thread on the ends. I love the details when God had men to make things and it was never an image of himself , He knew what we would do with such.

We do need reminders as in verse 40 , and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy for your God. 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.”

The tassel thing did not help much but we can see His patience in them . God has known from the beginning we needed Jesus Christ our Savior...If we are outside His camp today , Jesus paid a heavy price for us to come in...We are going to mess up until we die but the Holy Spirit is our tassel. We do not have to kill a lamb, make a tassel or die for picking up sticks on the Sabbath but we are not excused for sinning presumptuously

...Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

This passage shows us God did not change from Numbers 15 to Hebrews , He gave us Jesus on the Cross but that never meant we can sin presumptuously. In fact the passage here gives a greater warning for such... Jesus is the Son of God, we only have to look at our world and see how clueless we are what that means and the price that was paid … Pray for our churches that have went outside The Camp and taking the sheep with them...
