The current house we live in is under foreclosure by the owner. Myself , my son and two other adults need to find a residency within 3 weeks.

Hi Goofy!

I PM'd you about a "situation" that happened a few weeks
back. Ended up in E.R. with bleeding from my stomach
--which we believe may have been from a deliberate poisoning
from a homeless man we let into our home during the bad
blizzards up here. (We never went to the police over this
as it is all circumstantial and we have only some "odd
coincidences" with this young man right before I had to
be rushed to the E.R.--NOTHING we can prove.)

Shortly after this happened, the university where we live
announced someone had "stolen" TOXIC CHEMICALS from one of
the university labs which included powdered cyanide (among
others.) I had found 3 viles of liquid in the trash he left
after cleaning out his backpack and rubber gloves...but I
threw them away--I just didn't want to believe anyone would
do something like this to a "good samaritan" who was trying
to keep him from freezing to death in -35 temps. (We believe
he may have put the substance in our rice which he cooked for
lunch.)

In any case...whatever the substance was has pretty much
dissolved my stomach lining and I'm on a chicken broth diet
trying to heal up. I may be on my way back to E.R. in a
day or two if things don't turn around with my symptoms.

I could really use some continuing prayers for my recovery
and I think we should also be praying for this young man
as well, he is a very troubled soul and most certainly has
been abused himself.

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift this family up and place their needs in Your hands , we ask for an outcome better then we dreamed and they will not have to move or a better home that is less each month opens this very week in Jesus name amen

My brother Kenny finishes up the chemo and radiation he has been getting for the stage 3 rectal cancer this week. But, he has a new problem. A spot the size of a quarter has shown up on his back, and it looks cancerous. He has to see another specialist later this week.He still doesn't even know if the chemo and radiation has diminished the rectal cancer, as yet. He is supposed to go for tests next week to check on that.
I am so worried.

2 Kings 5 , there is so much in the chapters of Elisha it is hard to know where to begin , except his double portion from Elijah is seen in each.

1Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. 2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
3And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
How amazing is God that He would use a captive maid to bring such important words. That is His way of always showing us it has nothing to do with us but who He knows will obey. This little maid was in a foreign land , held captive yet kept her faith.

10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. 12Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
You would think if you suffered with leprosy you would be willing to try anything, but pride has always got in the way of humans. His men urge him to so as Elisha said and he did.

14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Naaman wants to pay a lot, for this miracle. Jesus tells us in Luke 4:27 there was lots of lepers during this time and Naaman is the only one that was healed.

16But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

There has always been a strong message to not take , buy or even eat from anything that we know comes from any other gods. We stepped over this line long ago and even share the same buildings.

21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well? 22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
Gehazi has been a questionable servant for Elisha for some time. He lied to Naaman and now lied to Elisha when Elisha ask where he went.
27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

I have always been amazed by anyone that knows God , to think anything is hidden, but maybe that is the answer , they do not really know or understand God.

The story of Job teaches so much. It is the Bible study I am working on .
To the people that do not know or understand God , could look at my life and say God does not love you or what have you done ?
If He did love you , you would be blessed. Those are the bad friends and Job's wife that can be found in the story of Job. I had a somewhat bad weekend and today I got on my knees and told God , I understand I deserve every miserable moment in my life. I ask Him to not let the enemy gain from this. I then ask God for some encouragement today. Afterwards I went to my desk and there was a text from one of my most favorite little people in the world and my tears turned to joy. That is what God does and if I ever thought this life was about this life, I would go in a pit and stay there...God has always had Elihu's , but there may only be one in our lives.

This is what God says about Job. Job 1: 8And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

My servant , none like him , a upright man. We are in a battle for souls , satan lost his fight for Job..

Job 32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
Are we the three friends or Elihu? When we see a brother or sister being tested we have to know what to say and do? Understanding what Elihu did and said is very important in our role as a child of God . Job had to endure 31 chapters of bad friends . Never be found in the three friends and be honest . The only way to be honest is to know the Bible...The world never holds the answers. It is not a day at the spay that ends our pain and suffering . God restored Job when Job got it, I am still trying to get it so study Elihu from Job 32 to 37 , it was not flowers of comfort he offered .

Where is you Elihu , and remember there be a least 3 others saying something else. God knew what to send my way that would lift my Spirit . I am thankful for that.

Elihu shows Job there is no unjust in God. If Job was facing this , there was a reason. We live in a time of singing and telling one another how good we are . There is even a lie of teaching after the Cross we are perfect, JUST NO...We will be made perfect in our transformation when we die or He returns.

Do you ever consider reminding others Who God is and help people reminder, there is none good. This fluffy gospel , do good and good happens , is a lie .

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

If Jesus does not want to be called good and He was perfect , please stop using this word to describe people. Follow Jesus not the world.

Job thought he was righteous and none of that should have happened to him . The only true friend he had on earth, had to get mad at him in his suffering , we do the opposite . Elihu reminds him he is nothing. Do we do this when a friend going through a trail.
We are to comfort and admoinish one another with the word of God .
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Job 40:4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

Do ever bring a friend to the point that they are reminded we are vile?

I hear it all the time , I have been such a good person why did this happen , where is this persons Elihu ?

I think we somehow think our words and actions help out a persons trial, but it has always been about repentance. Oh sure we might can do something that eases the pain for a short time , but our lives are about God.

We do not see in the story of Job , the people replacing what he lost. Great message in that. God replaced what he lost once he repented .

Job 42 :6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

It makes us feel good to help others but this story shows the only kind of help we need is not what the world says.
10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
I would never say , do not help people , I am saying Elihu's message has to be first. The soul is all that matters in the end...What if Job 32 to 42 did not happen because friends gave him all he lost?
Elihu said this
Job 37:13He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. Another thing satan gets no credit for what God puts Job through, that is another lie...

Please pray for me that good God in the name of Jesus Christ would give me one more chance to live, to repair my life, to try again.. I'm hopeless :(

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
