PLEASE try to pick up your local NBC affiliate station on an antenna, and let us know if it's on the air brodcast signal. Lots of weird things can happen in cable distribution. It would drive me nuts, too. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 68660769 ![]() 02/17/2016 10:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had never noticed this in my life. Me and my family haven't. But back in 2012, there was a huge thing on twitter going on. It didn't last long once it started to trend though. People were complaining about a strange weird noise played in a pattern during the oscars. It was continuing non-stop. Gawker wrote an article about it. I shook it off. Then people said it was on AMC all the time. Quoting: justaflyguy 71492628 And here's a video of a guy who made a video. The sound just keeps playing on and on in a pattern while America's Got Talent is on. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Well, I was watching Television tonight and didn't really notice it. For some reason, something just told me to go to Disney Channel. So I did. This movie from 2007 was on called ''Jump in'' or something. I didn't hear the strange tone at first but near the end of the film, it randomly started. I watched for another hour and half and it kept repeating. Sometimes, barely noticeable hidden in a louder noise (I MOSTLY heard it buried in the laugh-tracks or audience reactions which was strange). After Jump In was Liv and Maddie and then after was KC Undercover. It was still doing it the entire time. However the pattern was a little different for KC undercover. Some are done in chord progressions. And what's really weird to me is how sometimes, it's quiet and sometimes it's loud. I turned the TV off tonight after that. Don't even wanna turn it on. It's strange. I was watching the GRAMMY's last night and didn't even notice it once! But as soon as I turn on Disney, it does this. Now my head hurts just thinking about the noise! Apparently, from what I've read, it's the ''Lily wave'' or something like that. Does anyone know anything or have any experiences? If you can, try to record it and post it to Youtube. I'll post some videos tomorrow if I can. My eyes they bleed! |

Difference is 6 vs 5 sequence. |
