dont worry google or some other monopoly will buy you out, you get 40k dollars for your effort in the end, any and all tech that would improve the lives of others, the planet or anything will be bought out and used as a weapon against everyone

$400k valuation as it sits

Trust me you would not be on here, you would have streams of investor begging for a slice of the action.

I once made a similar statement on glp, the very next day Kickstarter (where I hid my idea) was hacked, it made the news. It turns out my idea was good but someone came out with an even better version of what I had envisioned about a year later. No one ever got on board with my idea, I talked to a couple engineers who were interested but never contacted me back.

25 years ago I designed and built a safty feature used in many modern day cars today, I never seen a single penny, infact it cost me the engineering and parts to build to have it stolen from me by big industry. I wont go into details, its still a very sour subject for me.

Proprietary sucks ass.

It’s worse when you show someone something you have spent months working on and the idea had never crossed there mind.

Then you are fired for some rubbish about taking a holiday that was not authorized when you have in hand the signed holiday consent form, then to hear a few months later the person that got you fired had a very good promotion and pay rise for designing the item you made.
