But it will serve as a test case. The statistics will show whether or not gun-related deaths rise, fall or remain the same. The gangs and criminals who carry now will continue to carry one way or the other. And law-abiding gun owners would only carry if necessary. My guess is that the number of gun related deaths will remain the same. They may even go down because criminals respect the gun and what it can do to them if their target is armed.
