Al, Ga, Tenn, NC Governors declare a STATE OF EMERGENCY!!!

The Governor declares a State of Emergency when he/she believes a disaster has occurred or may be imminent that is severe enough to require State aid to supplement local resources in preventing or alleviating damages, loss, hardship or suffering.

Surely some gas stations running low on gas would not prompt this radical a decision. These are all connecting Southern States.

Why not other states joining this? They got more cars in NYC than the whole state of Alabama.

When the gas runs out the trucks stop delivering food. When the store shelves are bare then your friends and neighbors have about a week's worth of food and household supplies. Then shit gets real really fast.

People can't get to work if they live in suburbs. Doctors, nurses, teachers, cops, etc. can't make it to work - the shit gets real really fast. Schools, hospitals, prisons, etc start scaling down because of staffing shortages is a possibility. Business owners can't resupply, they temporarily shut down, causing a cascading effect that can cause more societal problems. Watch for Walmarts and other huge stores that rely on a steady stream of trucks delivering goods will be forced to close temporarily if this shortage drags on for more than a couple of weeks.

I can see how, if the bigger picture is examined, this is an emergency situation.

The purpose of the SOE's was to allow the Governors to temporarily lift tanker restrictions. There is no State of Emergency perse, but by lifting restrictions re: size/weight/registration they are preventing one. Of course, the idiots with a pea-sized brain have nearly created a gas shortage by rushing stations to fill every container they could get their hands on. If folks would keep their heads on straight, there would not be a single station without gas right now.

NC here. Haven't even seen much of a price raise here. Drove by a couple gas stations this morning, all had gas, very few customers.

From what I can glean BP is part of this. Remember our good friends at BP?

I went to fill up the other day at the local BP cause it is convenient. NO GAS.
I went across the street to Shell and filled up.
Anyone know more about BP's role in this?

Hendersonville, NC here. As I stated in another thread I believe all the stations around here will be out of gas by this afternoon. Last stations open are rationing, no more than ten gallons.

Sheetz doesn't have gas in the foothills area. All others have gas though.

Really? 1 pipeline supplies all that? I call Bill shot. Something else is up. The SE out of gas and these pseudo terror bombs going off in dumpsters is too convenient. I seen videos of real IEDs going off. These pipebombs are not even close to the power of those.

Note that the EPA edict on Gasoline blending HAS NOT been lifted? That would allow gas from other areas to be brought in, instead of dependence on a single source or pipeline from an entire area.

This is all being done by Republican governors to keep black people from voting.
