It sounds like it would work but it wouldn't. First the average grizzly can reach SEVERAL FEET in front of its nose. Second. Even though they are usually slow they can out run a horse and make short leaps so fast its almost like they teleport. Third their nose is really really boney. They get swatted on the nose by other grizzlies for fun. Do you think your right hook beats a grizzly? |

Yes they a grizzly can leap fast but they need a few seconds to set themselves while they try and balance their massive bulk You think ussain bolt is the fastest man in the world ? No a man much smaller is far quicker over the first 5 yards ( bolt is usually the last out the blocks) BTW I am not talking about knocking out the bear cold I am talking about the bear running away in terror and fear like they do from a bee sting all the time in the wild! |

Expand more on this if you can. I am talking about the death stare ,looking at an enemy and they burst in to flames (if you wish ) but there are obviously clear reasons why this power should be used wisely! You can't do that to an innocent animal like a grizzly bear ,in reality a grizzly is as thick as two short planks , a slightly backwards animal that can be outwitted by 99% of the animal kingdom |

SocialEnigma User ID: 70522087 Canada 11/27/2017 05:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you don't want to carry a gun; use bear spray. Or at least a long stick that you can use as a spear; Natives used to carry them around whenever they had to do long hikes. The bear will charge and spear itself right into you; if you can keep your spear pointed right and it's strong enough to do the job you'll skewer them. The tactic OP is saying to use is much more effective against Moose or Elk and is advised if you're getting charged by one. Grizzlies can climb ok; but are nowhere near the capability of a black bear in climbing. You could out climb them if you had enough space and were athletic enough. They can't follow you up into the branches. Assuming you've found a tree big enough lol. |
