By definition, agnostics and atheists don't believe in either God or Satan.

I do have to say that I wonder about the Satanists, who believe there's a good side and an evil side and pick the latter.

Atheist don't believe in Satan either.

Agnostics are not quite sure but go by intuition and a collection of beliefs as their spiritual guide as to what they believe god would want. They too do not worship Satan, as the adversary of God. Because, a loving God would not create such a place or spirit in the first place.

So, I don't know where you get atheist or agnostics believing in Satan or being Satanist. Perhaps there are those that do so to mock the whole of idea of god in the first place. A Satanist is a persona that acknowledges that we are all animals and prone to the desires of animals. It is human intellect to organize and to overcome animalistic needs. They believe we create our own fate or "We create the fate we make."

Atheist/ agnostics have a similar view on fate, but don't even acknowledge or mock the character Satan as even having a fictional part in their lives. So perhaps this is where you are confused.

This is possible too. There is such a thing as the spiritual experience of being overcome and humbled that those without that experience or don't believe can understand.

See this is where you need to ask questions your self. If God did not exist would you still know what is good and bad?

If you say you receive all your instructions and rules from the Bible, you have to ask yourself, are you truly a moral person? I do believe you have a belief in free will do you not. You believe in choices?

To make good choices in the face of not believing actually makes you a more moral and ethical person. More so, than it does the person that does so only because a text tells them so. That is called Stalk Holm syndrome and there is nothing holy about that. If you are making choices based on the fact you are going to die and go to hell, it is hardly honoring nor loving God. That is living in fear and deceiving yourself for survival.
