It's possible that it's actually spinal fluid leaking through.

Look it up.

Re: Anyone got a cure for persistent post-nasal drip?
Has anyone found anything that eliminates post nasal drip? I take a 24-hour Claritin every day and it does almost nothing. Anyone have any folk remedy? I am not a fan of taking more drugs. I do take oil of oregano on occasion and it seems to help for a while, but is certainly no cure. I am tired of this runny nose all day.

You might want to make sure you're not leaking brain fluid.

Eliminate all dairy products from your diet.

THIS - cut out the dairy, at least for a while. It causes mucus. Also, consider if you might have acid reflux - it's a condition that is aggravated by eating certain foods like chocolate, peppermint, spices, alcohol. You may not, but Google it and consider.

Thanks for the link, but my problem is nothing like hers. I am blood type b+ and I do eat a lot of chicken. Maybe it is food allergies after all.

You very likely are suffering from mold exposure. Either at work or home. Mold sensitivity almost always introduces itself via upper respiratory and/or lower respiratory system. Mold can make you extremely sick. It only takes 24 hours for a pipe or other water leak not properly addressed to spawn mold.

That might be a good suggestion. I have started a journey to lose weight back to where I was in my twenties. I am 66 now. To get there I need to lose 70 pounds. In the past three weeks I have lost 17 pounds. I am doing fasting and calorie control along with exercise. I drink lots of water but when I have a diet soft drink I get hungry, so I might just give them up and see if it affects the runny nose.
