Catharism "the pure ones” was a Christian dualist or Gnostic revival movement that thrived in some areas of Southern Europe, particularly northern Italy and what is now southern France, between the 12th and 14th centuries.

In 1208 Innocent’s papal legate Pierre de Castelnau was murdered while returning to Rome after excommunicating Count Raymond VI of Toulouse, who, in his view, was too lenient with the Cathars. Pope Innocent III then abandoned the option of sending Catholic missionaries and jurists, declared Pierre de Castelnau a martyr and launched the Albigensian Crusade which killed a million men women and children and ended Catharism.

OP say more. Where does one learn? I've been curious about gnosticism for awhile. I was "Christian" for awhile, maybe still am, but something is wrong. God never answers my prayers. 20 years of being "Christian" and I'm in the darkest days of my life, mostly hopeless. Looking for answers.

Read the Nag Hammadi scriptures, you can get copies of the translations online.

Nag Hammadi library was found in the 1940s in Egypt, it was a library that hadn't been opened since about 250AD. Inside was a huge ammount of Gnostic texts / earlierst. books of the bible that were then deleted (Gospel of Mary, Gospel of Judas etc)

Jesus had twin brother named Thomas.

The Aeons

The Gnostic Gospel of Judas, mentions the Aeons and speaks of Jesus’ teachings about them.

The Aeons are children of god, mini-gods creators of realms and of all creations in the pleroma they also act as guardians and protectors of the pleroma.

The youngest Aeon Sophia, in her passion to comprehend the Father of all, runs the danger of being absorbed into his essence, from which she is saved by coming in contact with the limiting power Horos, whose function it is to strengthen all things outside the ineffable Greatness, by confining each to its appointed place. (protects and maintains purity of the pleroma).

According to this version Horos was a previously existing power; but according to another, and apparently a later account, Horos is an Aeon only generated on this occasion at the request of all the Aeons, who implored the Father to avert a danger that threatened to affect them all. He directs the production of a new pair of Aeons, Christ and the Holy Spirit, who restore order by separating from the Pleroma the unformed offspring of Sophia.

Abrahamic Religions

All religions maintain that “matter is good”, “the world is good”, “it was created by God”. And “God is just, God is good and created something good for man”. That is why the bible says “And God said ‘Let there be light’, and there was light. And God saw that light was good”.

Gnosis which has tried to be destroyed throughout the course of history, maintains the opposite: matter is evil and impure; matter is the prison of the Spirit. This material world is hell. Matter is evil, and if matter is evil it follows that its creator must also be evil. For Gnostics, the material world, this world, was created not by a good or just god but by a creator satan. Matter is something satanic, therefore whoever created it must also be a satanic being.

These abrahamic religions worship the demiurge as god.

Aside from what I've written in that Thread, I must say that the only way to Heaven is by the Blood of the Lamb.

Most people aren't even aware that they came to God through Christ, because without His existence, who's to say what state the world would be in today?

In essence, He preserved, not only the Bible, but also our freedom from oppression by TPTB. Yes, we're still experiencing it today, but most likely on a much lesser degree. All my own theory of course.

Any time, if I told you how I got 'guided' to it all it would be a thread in it's own. It was all-- very bizarre to say the least. BUT now that I can't hide as an AC i'd rather not put a target on my back.

The spiritual war that got the Gnostics 'offed' is very much alive.

Do a search for "John of Jerusalem Prophecy" if you want to know what time we're living in.

It's the least talked about prophecy, yet the most accurate i've ever seen, and it's connected with the Knight's Templar btw.

John would go in the desert, meditate and do what would partially be dubbed today as 'remote viewing'. What he saw was pretty damn spot on, including 9/11 being the start of the 'barbarian' invasion of Europe etc..
