It would seem Obama-Cankles' Deep State operation against Venezuela has not been canceled by Trump. Or, the more logical explanation, is that the Deep State is defying Trump and carrying on the regime change plans for Venezuela in spite of him, hoping that any negative fallout from the operation will fall squarely in Trump's lap.

Maduro, like Putin and China and North Korea and Iran, are not a threat to the United States of America. They are a threat to the chosen members of the Western Deep State. The sooner Trump figures this out the better, although I don't think there's much he can do about it even if he wanted to.

Says it's the far-right trying to assassinate him

Will proceed to start rounding up anyone he thinks will oppose him.

Nope, no death penalty in Venezuela since 1863, as in most S.American countries.

Its actually the first modern state to abolish the death penalty for all crimes.

So while you may see protestors shot during riots or opponents disposed of secretly in jungles, there is no chance that Maduro or anyone else can have people officially executed.
