VT used to be a predominantly agricultural state - real salt of the earth people, flannel wearing, maple syrup eating, dairy farm state. When Bernie and his ilk got elected, more and more people moved there believing they'd get all sorts of free stuff. I live in NH and go to Burlington twice a year, each time I go I notice it is worse than the last time. The last time I visited was back in June and I was happy to get the hell out of there. I saw a line of people waiting for the bus, most were speaking Spanish. Went to the pedestrian street lined with quaint stores, pan handlers asking me for money, another guy digging through the trash can for food. I went into their little coop market (sort of like a Trader Joes or Whole Foods), had to use their bathroom, found fecal matter all over the toilet and a needle on the floor. Was absolutely disgusting. Brattleboro is a bigger shithole than Burlington. |

Now they have elected Bernie Sanders which has made the quality go way down, and now this moral depravity.
