It's fucking unsettling that yesterday Trump both extended the 9/11 state of emergency and declared a new state of emergency for foreign interference in elections. Washington DC is also in a state of emergency because of the hurricane... I am convinced that whatever is going down in Sunspot will climax during the hurricane and be ignored because of it.

I'm also wondering if the hole in the sun is connected to the 3 fucking hurricanes coming at the east coast... Poles flipping is definitely a possibility

Trump just declared National Emergency status via executive order, blaming it on election hacking, which is complete B.S that happened ages ago.

The last National Emergency was 9/11 and it gives powers to the Military. This is highly unusual. Anyone else joining the dots here ?

I'm going with the NSF "eviction" theory but this Facebook post has lots of local residents' stories & it is still mind boggling they would segregate residents from pets & personal belongings for an indefinite period.
[link to m.facebook.com (secure)]

Also reading the local scuttlebut, there was very few people actively working at the site & almost no science going on, though this is contradicted by earlier claims.

The university people talk like the state was buying the site, but they also seem clueless about this environmental impact hearing last February that closed taking comments the following March.

You'd think all stakeholders would be involved in any site review, including locals in the area. So it's an open question what the NSF decided re the 4 options they were considering.

Admittedly the secrecy & hardship to local residents being told to abandon even pets reeks of some deeper conspiracy, my guess some kind of solar/climate doom. Helluva story!

People still live there and need to get their mail I assume. Why close it at the same time the feds closed down the observatory unless it was used in whatever crime they think was comitted.
 Quoting: + <3 +

It is in the middle of nowhere and the PO only serviced the people living on site i guess and maybe some rural places. But it was on the compound site and so had to be closed with the rest so they could 'Manage' whatever it is they are doing. Also, the FBI on site may not even be FBI for all we and the local LEO know but some AFB base security hiding their intentions behind a routine agency?

I would guess that we would have some info on it if it is the FBI, if not then we may never know.

My money is on the fact that it can easily see/view both Holloman AFB and White Sands.

In fact it was an AF facility for both solar research, to ensure safe testing of various tech's and also as an observatory of tests being carried out at both bases.

So my best guess is that something or someone was flying in or out of either base, and they 100% didnt want anyone accidentally seeing it/them.

If the observatory saw this, and reported it, then it would explain why they didnt want anyone else seeing what ever it was or filming it.

A few other online solar observatories went sown same day, and are still down, including one here in NSW, Australia, but they are web based, so easy to take down. IMHO they are down only to create a plausible deniability, and keep everyone focussed on the sun and out into space.

The action is going on just down the hill at the bases, whilst everybody is looking up .....

Conflicting stories of the director who would be most likely to know the real scoop and the spokesperson's apparent cover story just adds to the intrigue, somebody is lying here. And compared to similar incidents why a helicopter & crew of technicians and what were they doing to antennas & towers as described by the sheriff?

Facebook posts by locals seem to indicate a minimal amount of workers on site, one said the only federal employee was a maintenance worker.

More details surface as tards all over the web scour for facts, yet it is still speculative. Really sounds like an X-Files plot at this point.

Likely the blackhawk came from either Holloman or White Sands. That should tell you something straight away.

Military has zero jurisdiction at a civilian site, and local law isnt going to shut down a facility, evacuate the staff and locals or cordon off the road up to the site. (like in Close Encounters) so FBI had to be the ones going up there.

That they were climbing all over the towers is also a clue in my book, as this offers the best vantage point, especially if any cameras were mounted up there. Maybe they were retrieving cameras/disconnecting them, as in 911 Pentagon confiscations?

But they came AFTER the facilities CEO called them about something they saw. Just because its an observatory does not mean it was something they saw through the telescopes and equipment.

Their altitude and proximity to Holloman AFB and WS is more likely.

Also, no one has ever said that the "security issue" was specific to the observatory. Very well could be a security issue at white sands due to vantage point. Very well could have attached equipement to the towers to monitor or take part in a test at white sands.

Think about recent events. Several plane loads of people landing in the US with a mysterious "illnes" last week.
A month ago the volcanoes were active, now nothing.
A 500 mile wide class 4-5 hurricane downgrades to a class 2 in less than 24 hours right before making land fall. State of emergency declared three times in one day by executive order. Even here our local weather went from the 90s to the 60s and overcast overnight.
The Schumann resonance has be fluctuating all over the place, lately. Magnetic field is thinning.
If a solar observatory watches the sun it stands to reason that it would also measure solar radiation levels.
Seems like we are ripe for some kind of event.

So here is my main question with this theory: They have both been there since 1960's why now?

If it was a mercury issue why was hazmat not brought in?

If it was a threat of locational danger why is this site not being heavily guarded?

If it was an employee issue why no state or local involvement?

If it was an environmental issue why was the EPA not involved?

Could be a hacking issue but it doesn't explain why the site closed as opposed to taken offline.

So far none of these theories make sense.

My gut instinct tells me it is an issue that involves national security but sits beyond the earth's surface. It could be advanced weapons they don't want to be seen, but I highly doubt they are on earth.

I also doubt it is the advanced life we are speaking of. The truth is if beings beyond earth are known someone would come out about this.
We are speaking highly narcissistic people who would love to be the grandfather of other life discovery. That person would solidify there place in history. Many of those scientist, government officials, politicians are looking for the spotlight. If they had evidence beyond some green murky dusty room pic they would show it.

The best evidence to date is the Sun pictures with the moon obstruction 6 hours apart.

This observatory was, in fact, running "scientific test" on the sun's magnetic energy days before closure. There are several credible reports something strange is going on with the magnetic pull of energy between earth and the sun. It is supposed to be that the earth draws its energy from the sun. In the last few days, it has in fact been reversed and a large hole has appeared.

If a second cornea whole has opened. This is showing possible signs our sun maybe not be well.

Humanity is already unraveling somewhat. Can you imagine the unfortunate state of affairs if the sun is in serious trouble.

Re: Solar Observatory Evacuated, FBI Involved, Sunspot, NM
FBI is not there investigating anything. FBI is there for the removal of people. If they refuse they go to jail. FBI is only there to ensure that no one unauthorized enters and sees anything.

The more important question is not why the FBI is there, but who ordered them to be there. Whatever agency brought them in will tell you a lot.

They are not trusting local LEOs, which tells you a lot also.

Does anyone know if that is a grass air strip just to the northwest?

Can you see White Sands Missile Range or Holloman AFB from there?

It may be more about what can be seen on the ground from that vantage point.

Yes, I was speculating about that as well, you can definitely see launches from White Sands up there, but then again you can see that from a wide area around there. It might be attractive to a foreign nation to plant a spy up there to keep tabs on things, but then you'd think they'd make a targeted arrest for something like that rather than a complete hush hush shutdown.

Most of the the LC's (launch complex) are in the 80-100 mile range from the observatory. LC33, LC34 and several others may be observable, but many of the NASA LC's are behind the mountain range.
WSMR normally posts any launches on the public website due to legal reasons since they have to launch over Hiway 70 and ALL traffic is stopped by DoD police during the launch window.

Solar observatory closure not a mystery

I ignored this story until earlier today, because it was not a mystery as to why the FBI shut down the observatory and forced everyone out. Now that the story has gone so viral, the story I heard was that a rocket with a classified payload failed in launch, and came down near the observatory (within a couple miles) so the black hawks and FBI moved in and got everyone out of there. No aliens, no solar flares, nothing of the sort.

I am repeating this because I keep seeing this story surface.
