Either he had clipped it on the stadium on the way up or, it was already damaged before it took off like a major crack in the rotor ready to make it blow apart like that. But then again maybe it was all due to the crankshaft just locking up solid because of whatever reason and then the rotors snapped off because of the sudden force. And replaced with Quad copters. not electric quad copters as they still have technological hurdles to do with power to weight ratio and endurance. Quadcopters should have individual gas turbine engines for each rotor, all totally independent for redundancy. There should be space enough above the cockpit and passenger seats to allow for ejector seats or even a single large parachute for the whole thing in case of multiple engine failure. You can't eject from a helicopter because of its inherent design flaws. Concorde crashed once due to debris on the runway.. They grounded the fleet. Lets see what they do to the fleet of Augusta westland helicopters. Last Edited by Agent Smith 2014 on 10/28/2018 09:14 AM Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |

Khun Vichai, to use Thai naming convention, has regularly shared his club's successes with the people directly responsible for making it happen. When Leicester won promotion he invited the squad for a meal of caviar and fine wine in a top west London restaurant and picked up the bill. He then gave each player and staff member a £10,000 chip to gamble at a private members' club nearby. When Leicester became top-flight champions he provided a fleet of £105,000 royal blue BMWi8s. His generosity extended to Leicester's supporters, who are unanimous in their admiration for a man who has changed the face of the club. He has regularly handed out free beers for every attending fan at each milestone event, with his birthday a particular cause for celebration. For his 60th in April he gave away 60 season tickets for this campaign. He has respected the heritage of the club, keeping ticket price rises to a minimum, and upgraded the stadium and Belvoir Drive training ground, with a particularly keen eye. more: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] He would donate some of his millions to local charities, hospitals... He would personally hand out free shirts and toys to kids attending the games at the stadium... Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is the man who allowed Leicester to dream... and gave hope to every other club that anything is possible It’s difficult to know what to feel let alone write. To the outside world, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is the Thai duty-free billionaire who bankrolled the most incredible sporting story of our generation. Perhaps any generation. To Leicester City supporters, like me, he is the man who allowed us dream, to stand at the top of the mountain, and give hope to every other fan of every other club that anything is possible. more: [link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] |

They have recently installed a new giant screen in one of the ends and it looked as though the air pressure differences was causing a huge imbalance. The helicopter looked as though it was being spun and dragged to the screen and ended up landing in the middle of the half rather than in the centre circle as usual.
