It does not look like an afterburner, such light from a thermal imager is in service with your aircraft. It seems that your plane was holding a Russian fighter on sight. My unprofessional opinion.
Most likely the Russian fighter flew to identify the target, determine the aircraft number and so on.

The best thing Trump could following the red wave, would be to fire Mueller and Sessions, and then rub it in the Deep State's face by inviting the Russian Knights to come to America to perform a joint Air Show with the Blue Angels/Thunderbirds.
