Flat earth?

The hush happened here after 6+ inches of snow fell.
It is even quieter at East Glacier where they had over 4 FEEEEEET of snow.

It is amazing how the snow dampens noise.

Yes-- me too -- Didn't even know Herman Hermits did the original. KC had the smoothest voice I've ever heard, and too was a very talented drummer that many people are unaware of.

This sets the tone for today!

I remember the Windy song from the Association. Was only 7 when it came out. Really liked the harmony and the up beat sound...

It’s a hush over this place and it’s called a VPN ban.

Sorry to break some of the nostalgia for music from decades ago, but on many occasions over the past few years I've encountered people (of all races and ethnicities) in cars with their speakers turned up high blasting rap music. Music with lyrics that are nothing but a constant stream of the "n" word, the "f" word, words about hos and bitchez, pimping, shooting, thugging and killing.

Again, such lyrics and staccato-beat, non-harmony apparently are pleasing to a wide variety of people of all races, but mainly of younger ages.

Yet people on the left (and various "centrists," even some soft conservatives) think America's hardware involving guns needs to be controlled - and is the problem - not its software involving things like rap?

America's future is bright, warm and huggable. And beautifully progressive.

It was a farce, though.

It was still just a distraction from the greater truth.

Which is not inherently bad...one truth always leads to another, and human decency can lead to God.

I have always maintained, and will continue to do so, that the words "rap" and "music" do not belong in the same sentence, much less next to each other.

Let's go with the great music we remember here, and we can enjoy ourselves not listening to c-rap.

I remember standing there watching someone get beat almost to death while that song was playing on black and white television. I've never forgotten that song.

Hell I heard them on live radio, fuckers are younger than I was back then. What the hell was in the water in Liverpool that decade??

Just as I'm stunned by the very leftist biases of certain high-visibility people throughout today's America, I'm stunned by how the innate musical tastes of various people - across the racial spectrum - actually make them find more than a few minutes of rap pleasing to the ear.

It's like discovering a non-human humanoid species is residing on planet Earth, politically and culturally, and they're now making themselves known.

Or is it the invasion of the body snatchers?

This reminds me of staying the summer at my cousins in ft pierce fl in the early 70’s
They had no ac only fans and the water was that stinky rotten egg water. Paper trees, ticks, bass fishing and bbq ...sandy roads and clear lakes....good times.
