Exactly. The deep experiences or "breakthroughs" are soo complete opposite of the reality we live in. It is so bizzare, wonderful, beautiful, and scary. There is no space. Just a connected energy getting absolutely nuts, while trying to teach you concepts and ideas straight to your intellect. Like a language that you know oh so well, but never learned in this (human) life. And it is all happening within yourself, generally eyes closed. Seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the body at all.

It is bizzare, exciting, spiritual, and dream like. Weaving the experiences into your everyday life, is always the challenge. What I really took from it is.....that I don't know shit.

Please look at Temple of the Way of Light. Check out some of the testimonial videos. Most are well respected, grounded people with good careers and appear to be for the most part fairly intelligent. A friend of mine, a phd and Director of Research at a well known universit), has given me the thumbs up as, this place checks out well with his contacts and he even plans to do his next Ayahuasca retreat there is well. Blue Morpho is another with a very good reputation.

This is where I'm choosing to visit for a two week deep immersion trip later next year (Temple). You have to fill out a questionnaire to make sure you are mentally stable and not on any meds that may cause a bad reaction (even death) -- in particular, SSRI's.

I wish I could activate my pineal gland, as I tend to be spiritual, but I can not without the help of DMT. I will never smoke the stuff, and unless I could totally decalcify my pineal gland and then learn how to meditate properly, I possibly could have an enlightenment experience. Therefore, to me the only option is to go with a well vetted retreat in the Amazon, with shamans who really know what they are doing.

DMT is the treasure at the bottom of the rabbit hole. It reveals the multilayered matrix we inhabit. There are ancient intelligence's that make themselves known when all focus is plugged into hyperspace. To get the gold all layers must be shed until the human is no more.

OP -- who the hell do you think you are to tell people or insinuate that the two retreats I mention in my post in Peru are "con artists"? Fuck you!! I know people who have had positive experiences there. So they are "real world trusted connections"

Some of the newly US based "Ayahuasca" religions who offer the brew, have charlatans that claim to be shamans and have very limited experience as compared with Natives from South America who have generations of experience with the "native plants" for at least 500 years.

I have never implied there were not legitimate "orgs" as you call them. Actually they need to be a "religious org" for legality in US. The UDV church appears to be one of those legitimate orgs. There has been many newly formed Ayahuasca "church's" founded in last few years. A search of these will show that some of these are indeed unsafe, and there have been deaths.

I beieve it is up to the person whether something is dark or not.

I have been castigated nastily by evangelical relatives for the "sin" of being a yogi & martial artist. Even plan to begin the training this fall to become an internationally certified yogi -- hence, my interest in this topic, and wish to clean up "issues" before embarking on that journey.

Now, back to good v. evil -- before every yoga session, we set intention and/or dedicate our session. I always dedicate to the Holy Trinity, and ask God to help me advance to being a better person.

It seems most people on this thread are interested in becoming a better person, and getting closer to The One (I simply like to call him God). When the time comes for me to do this, I will be setting intention, and dedicating my journey on getting closer to God. I will request protection from the Angels and my beloved, now passed, Grandparents.

I suppose one could embark on this wishing to make contact with darkness. I would advise them to be very careful what they wish for, as evil does exist, and it is not a game to be played.

I'm just going to throw this out there...for though/perusal.

49 days after conception the human pineal gland seemingly not only produces DMT, but closes like a flower. NOw DMT is piezoluminescent (sp?) which means it gives off a spark of light when struck. So at the same time a major gland in your developing body is closing in on itself, and creating a substance that creates light....

Does that mean that your 'animating principle/soul' IS light?

Since Quantum Entanglement has pretty much been proven is the soul of a human a photon of light, enmeshed with everyone else's photon of light? Dunno. But when you have your first DMT experience you may notice (like Terence said) a crinkly sort of sound in your head. I believe he referred to it as the sound of cellophane crunching (or words to that effect).

Perhaps that is some sort of 'gift wrapping' being stripped off your pineal? THe taking off of the 'gift wrapping' (or simple decalcifying from toxins) allows you to vibrate with the billions of photons of light around the world locked into the pineals of most humans. Some never grasped the light. Sociopaths/etc.

This is a working theory. SO don't expect 'links' or some such. I'm just tossing the idea into the fray.

Not sure if you guys have heard of Dipropyltryptamine(DPT) it's very similar to DMT, some say it's even stronger. I've only had it a few time & surprisingly it's still legal in US. There is an offshoot of the Native American Church in New York that uses it though it can easily be obtained online...

I think Strassman pointed out that in Buddhism the belief is that souls reincarnate 49 days after death.

That he did....which is prolly how I started on the above idea.

the first time i ever did it, i went all the way and came out of it with a little vomit on my shirt. my friend who turned me on to it was there and i was sitting up on a futon. i was glad i didn't puke on his futon. it wasn't a lot either thank god. just one of those quick blurps like you get from mescalin.

as time went on i noticed that i'd get nauseated on it if it wasn't the right time to smoke. when i was well relaxed i didn't seem to get that queasy feeling.

5meo went away after 9/11. shortly after that day the feds busted up neurochemists across the country. even shulgin closed down, we were getting ours from him. been nothing like it since.

Didn't know that its still being produced in Europe & China though. The main resupliers of it are in Canada but only China will ship it to US due to them making it Schedule 1...

Just wanted to add one of my sons took it once and said all his anger disappeared. And has remained absent.
