Whether Mexico pays for it or not won't dictate my opinion of our President as I'd gladly fund it myself with tax dollars, however, the wall IS a MUST to ensure reelection in my opinion. I'll admit I'd prefer honesty over show-boating and that goes for anyone, however, politics is a game and a game needs to get played to an extent. |

Trump should NOT declare a national emergency for the border and here is why. If Trump would happen to lose in 2020 and we get demonrat to replace him we as Conservatives could see the very same ploy put upon us. Democratic president declares... Health care is a national emergency: Medicare for all Student Loan Debt is a national emergency: Forgiven Education: Free public college Literally every "socialist" or progressive program and idea could be passed through without congress, just by pretending there's a national emergency. Do we really want to risk that game? Do we really want to have this thrown back at us? Dont get me wrong I want border security, but not this way. It is all wrong and can backfire on everyone that is supporting the wall and going with a national emergency. |

There is also nothing to connect that link directly to the Trump campaign or the man himself. Congratulations: you have bene sucked in my someone clever enough to write a page of text that looks "official" - something any third-year law student could accomplish! I'll trust my eyes/ears! As a grassroots Trump supporter, I not only saw him in person [with only 500 other people at my state's caucus], but also watched every single rally I could find online and in several of them he stated very clearly that there were "several ways to make Mexico pay for the wall."
