They pay well, feed you and give you a cheap place to live (sometimes free). They always need people in the spring and summer. Most pristine places left in America from Alaska TO everywhere. They make their rounds but spend 3/4 of their time sitting at a desk doing nothing. I'd have IT stuff downloaded onto a laptop. Even a $250 laptop will run IT training material. You don't need college. What's online costs a fraction of college and is better in a lot of ways. Then you pass your first Comptia certification exam and your on your way. And everyone wanted experience. Been there done it. So what to do? I applied at an IT temp service and they sent me out to a certain corporate headquarters. 6 months later they hired me on full time. I went from blue collar work to corporate. But you need to study all the time cause they will ask you technical questions in the interviews. Failure to answer the questions correctly and your going nowhere. |

Lived out of my car. Took a week to get across the conus, didn't stop expect to buy weed and sleep and eat. I showered at planet fitness along the way. Got a job in the first month. Been enjoying the change of scenery.
