Quoting: LilMiss Of course, with all the water everywhere, the mosquitoes are off the chart, too! Happy you have done your research and are using cedar essential oil on your dog. VERY smart, OP! ![]() i don't want to say it but the mosquitos haven't really hatched out here in the rice fields yet...but then again i don't think many have the fields even ready to plant yet due to all the rain. not a farmer though so i may be wrong, but the field next to my house just got worked up this week during the couple dry days. have had a bad outbreak of fleas though, which we have NEVER had before gotta be all the water here in arkansas this year changing things. mosquitos are shitty here too. but for the time being up here ticks are primary concern. |

It repels the icky ones and the good ones..bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are not offended. I also use it around my plants for the munchers ..keeps them healthy and the plants seem to love it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44439130 Eat plenty of garlic too. I bet this means the chiggers are gonna be bad too. BOO Garlic Barrier. Its uses in organic farming and is not the household garlic. Culninary garlic—a broth— saved my hostas but the smell! Like the dumpster of a dirty Greek restaurant or something. How is your garlic different? Can you mention a product? |

Quoting: allentownchemtard daily generous applications of ceader oil to the dog seem to work, it kills them, but he always gets wet. ive been growing a badass beard for the past 3 or 4 years and im considering shaving everything off. these fucking things are weaponized, there is no doubt in my mind. Ticks, fleas and lice and mites are off the charts. Now we have "super lice" and "super mites". I agree with some comments, they've definitely been weaponized. |

I ride an electric mountain bike in the Jersey Pine Barrens. This year I had one halfway embedded in my arm and the season just started. I prefer in many ways to ride in the Barrens during winter. Under 35 degrees and the ticks are dead. As far as weaponized, yes and no. What I mean is the story goes the Japanese(WWII) were testing using ticks as a vector for diseases or viruses to enter the human body once an infected tick bites the human. OK, after WWII the Japanese tick research was continued by the US Army at a facility called "Plum Island" near Connecticut, Lyme Connecticut to be more exact. It is thought that some amount of "ticks" accidentally were released, blowing across water to Lyme Connecticut. .....The nefarious history of Plum Island began after World War II when Erich Traub, a German biological warfare expert joined the team. Our government learned of the German penchant for bio-weapons technology through defectors. Significantly, Traub had operated a germ warfare lab on an island in the Baltic Sea....
