made up that they needed a warrior king.
This "Savior" spoke truth to their tyranny while
remaining as cool as the other side of the pillow.

They needed John's hellfire and brimstone to
work with their system of control through fear
and guilt. But this one told them of a spiritual
kingdom within that needed no middlemen. He
chased them out of the Temple when they were
using it as a den of theives and said that their
bowls were clean on the outside but nasty inside.

Saying that "mashiach" is related to "moshiah" is a bit like saying
that ring is related to surfing because they both end in "ing."

Daniel 1:3 clearly shows that the children in whom was no blemish he is speaking of are children of Israel. Its not a blanket statement and has nothing to do with "science".

actually, if you read Daniel 1 and 2 its all about finding a wise israelite to interpret Nebuchadnezzar's dream....ie, Daniel an isrealite.
