For the millionth time, yes, the US has the greatest military machine on the planet, but Iran is also strong AF and it could actually beat the US in irregular warfare.

They have hundreds of thousands of Iraqi Shia militias and Syrian Alawite/Shia troops under their command in Syria and Iraq. These forces alone could damage US interests inside Syria and Iraq beyond comprehension.

And then I have not even mentioned Hezbollah, who gave Israel the beating of a lifetime back in the summer of 2006, with their formidable army and 150000 missiles.

Or the Houthis in Yemen who got new toys from Iran like those advanced cruise missiles.

You see, Iran could order all these forces to annihilate US interests in the region without even lifting a finger themselves.

Iran itself has thousands upon thousands of advanced missiles pointed at US bases around the region, at US naval assets in the Persian Gulf, at Saudi and Emirati oil infrastructure etc etc.
