They also take your fingerprints, do a background check, etc. Also, because Cape Canaveral is a military installation, concealed carry does not apply and you have to leave all weapons at home. They can also search your car any time they choose. That part sucks, but it's worth the price. So if they do backgrounds check then they definitely know about your involvement with this forum. Since they didnt mind you having high level access to this forum (an openly conspiracy theory and fringe site), then that means that GLP is part of their agenda. Which means visitors should be very weary of the information this site provides as a whole. I am a meat popsicle. And the Devil's Uncle. *Mostly* Harmless. |

I doubt that very much. The background check is just to make sure you don't have a criminal history. I don't. Quoting: Miles2Go There are hand holds on all sides of the inside of the station, an astronaut grabs at one and misses and conspiracy theorists disgustingly loop the clip over and over and try to claim the astronaut's a liar and is just in front of a green screen. Sure doesn’t look like what you are describing. And what about Tim Peake standing in front of a green screen when he was supposed to be in space? |

Sure doesn’t look like what you are describing. You mean the video where the astronaut is very clearly holding a hand hold on the side of the module just like I said, stretches his arms a bit, and then touches a hold on the side of the module again? Sorry, doesn't look suspicious at all. And what about Tim Peake standing in front of a green screen when he was supposed to be in space? Quoting: ACHe was in space. That isn't a green screen, it's not even a blue screen what with the white grid pattern. It's a grid used for educational purposes and lied about by space deniers. It was a long time ago and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. Perhaps the readers of all this will care to comment on their interpretation of the content ? Additionally, I tried searching for "parlous" and get absolutely zero results, even in the advanced search. Did GLP change something I am unaware of? Obviously the post resides. Curious. Anyone else have the same issue? Perhaps only paying members get to see complete results? Your stance on my suggestions seems... dismissive. Can you be more specific in the future ? Elaborate. I'm a Physicist, Computer Programmer, Mathematician, among other things. I've written software for the Dept of Energy, NASA, Genomic labs, Tax Collection, Logistics, many. Therefore, specific figures and data are fine with me and in fact preferred. Do you pay for primitive, filthy hydro-carbons to run your vehicles? I don't, why haven't you joined me yet? At the moment, I'm quite busy with some other items, writing some software for myself, but will check back in every so often as the months ensue and more declassification occurs. The matter is leaning in a certain direction, so lets see how this pans out. To all those seekers of the truth, take care out there. parlous |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77457727 United States 06/20/2019 01:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's official, I now have "shill" level access to Cape Canaveral. Until today I had no greater access to NASA or Cape Canaveral than any other regular citizen. Occasionally I was accepted for behind the scenes tours as part of NASA Socials, but anyone with a twitter or YouTube account could do the same and I know of at least one former GLP'er who has been highly critical of NASA for years and was able to get in under the same NASA Social program. And to be clear, that program did not pay me a penny or even cover the cost of lunch, it was just an opportunity to see things behind the scenes. Quoting: Dr. Deplorable Astromut As of today, I now have access behind the security gates at Cape Canaveral. Some of you might remember when I mentioned months ago that I was getting a new position involved with NASA. That still isn't finalized, everything was held up by the SpaceX crew capsule explosion during an abort motor test a couple months ago. I don't have any inside info on it, but it did hold things up quite a bit. Progress is now being made though I can't really say what my new position is. All I will say is that it has to do with preparing experiments to fly to the International Space Station. Although it's not finalized yet, I have gone through a background check and was granted a temporary badge onto the base today which is good for the next few months while a few other things are finalized. There's actually a couple different things going on behind the scenes at the same time, but it's all good. I always promised GLP that I was not a shill and that the day I started working for NASA was the day I would stop debunking threads here. Now that I have a badge with my name and face on it, it's time I did just that (even though I will not be working for NASA directly, I might as well be). I'll still be here as a mod, none of that is changing, but as far as astronomy goes I'll be sticking strictly to my own threads. Feel free to continue to ask me questions about whatever you want, I'll continue to debunk false claims if asked or subjects in general on my threads. I just won't be responding to other threads and even on my threads all of my posts are just my own statements and do not and will not reflect anything coming from NASA, SpaceX or the air force. When you find out they know about entities in our atmosphere, will you tow the line and keep quiet, or will you come here and tell us? |

A brown dwarf/massive planet in a highly elliptical 3600 year orbit, ie, the conspiracy version of Nibiru does not exist. How long do we have until it dances a tango with earth? Quoting: AC3600 years per nibiru / 0 nibirus = divide by zero error How does NASA hide the fact that the earth is flat? Quoting: ACLoaded question. It's not flat. Watch to the end. The rocket lands over the curvature of the earth, most of the rocket is obscured by it. Will you be on the next flight to Mars? Quoting: ACProbably not. Is the moon an ancient hollow titanium space station? Quoting: ACNot to my knowledge. Be cool if it was though. Who really left the black knight satellite in orbit around earth? Quoting: ACIf by "black knight satellite" you mean this: We did. I worked at a civilian contractor / Machine-Shop a number of years back. We were selected to fabricate a Camera Mount for this extremely complicated compound lens device. They sent us one of the lenses and a copy of the drawings for it. It was one of the coolest lenses I have ever seen. Aperture was approx 10 inches, length was about 2 & 1/2 feet (estimate). It was intended to mount on a next generation CCD image intensifier gadget (Starlight Scope). [It's old technology these days.] NASA has the best engineers in the Nation, and possibly the best in the world! Which puts YOU right up there with those folks! |
