Since when is OFFENDING someone a crime?
It´s just a matter of perception.

We don´t have to honour the dishonourable.
The Courts show us contempt,time and again.
The gov shows us contempt,time and again.

There are boundaries, you see.
When someone is throwing shit at me, I don´t need to thank him and honour him.

Your question was ‘when is it a crime to offend someone’.

I’ll put aside the actual convictions on the rap sheet as I do know what you mean so I won’t flounce around it.

As he was the head of the organisation EDL (English Defence League) his videos, paraphernalia & rousing speeches were not only ‘inciting’ his members to engage in violent illegal activity but in many cases actually ‘call to arms’ to do so.

It SHOUL NEVER be a crime to simply offend, if you’re offended then fine, go right ahead & be offended. But as the head of an organisation with an active ‘member base’ you are implicit when you & your marketing lend itself to commit crimes.

I’m not sure on the ‘inciting’ legalities in Sweden but over here it’s pretty clean cut although you would think a real ‘grey area’.

All your other points I wholeheartedly agree with. His whole structure was to incite ‘direct action’. The organisation itself actually didn’t bother too much with the simple ‘offence’ strategy.

An interesting point is also, and these are my thoughts & in no way a collective opinion based on any material whatsoever, but.........

He was very well aware of perjury & contempt legalities for many reasons, not excluding he was currently guilty of a previous act & has legal representation advising him for rallies, public appearances & publicity stunts.

There is a strong chance that his behaviour & footage collection & immediate distribution via Facebook live could very well have caused the collapse of the entire case he was there ‘supposedly’ to highlight with disgust.

He would have known this, I would hazard a guess the adjudicators also thought this could be his motive. I am unsure if this was a discussion during proceedings but if not then there must be a reason for it.

Maybe making that accusation would have damaged the prosecutions case for some reason or maybe as others say he is a ‘plant’ & they couldn’t risk exposure of that getting out, who knows.

But something more is at hand that’s for sure.

Now the TR threads have calmed down let me just say this.

I sure as hell hope his family & innocent parties connected to him are offered some protection. He has behaved abysmally, immorally & is in no way a representation of the White British Male.

His family face a ‘lifetime’ of unwarranted fear.

I hope he is, as one would expect, kept away from the prison population for his own safety, but you reap what you sow & my main concern is for his family. Total knob.

Regardless of our personal views on his documented ‘causes’ you simply can not go around jeopardising current trials & you can not call for violence & death upon other groups in society.

This is ‘exactly’ the fundamental problem with Islam.

Most religions have their faults hence I follow none.

The world is progressive, evolves & is ever developing, if religions do not move with it in a direction that is proportionate with common decency & understanding then there will forever be a problem with them.

Albeit, your Jesus, His God, Her Prophet, religion has to move along with societal change. Christianity did this with a move from the Old Testament to the New Testament.

Islam needs to do this also but with the current stance being that the original teaching’s must not be changed & Fatwa’s for death ordered for any changes from the Hadith & Scriptures then we are at a stalemate.

But to threaten the behaviour with the same threats of death is simply nonsensical. Regardless of how long it takes we have to maintain higher understanding, ethics & morality.

We have evolved & we will evolve again. Thankfully it will only be a couple of hundred years before we are all the same colour & all religions merged to be an ‘Ethos’ of decency rather than ridiculous individual Idols.

The stories of all this religious nonsense will be folklore laughed about. Sooner the better.
