Men want dinner, a clean and tidy house, kids that aren't brats, backrubs, sex, help buying a new truck, a wife that isn't frivolous and has common sense, someone who understands them and supports their ideas and has their backs... It's really a two-way street that can be very profitable for both when working as a team. The problem is that there is no "I" in team, and both men and women are too focused on the "I" of the relationship to give the "us" a thought. |

When I was in my late 30's and early 40's, I was the same way. Tho, thanks to good genetics, I looked like I was in my mid 20's during that entire time-frame. (I became a widower at age 33) The above being said, in my late 40's, I ended up being in a different "place" mentally and emotionally and I ended up marrying a wonderful woman 4 years older than me.
