They destroy the family unit any way possible. The last thing they want is families living together on farms living off grid helping each other daily. Thats how you beat the system. Extended family units once were much more important than now. People stayed within a few miles of parents, siblings, cousins throughout their lives until modern transportation and the industrial revolution. They helped each other survive... didn't just throw them out to fend for themselves at 18 or even 21. Growing up is a gradual and actually a lifelong journey. In cultures that have many who live past 100 (blue zones), families were very important lifelong features. |
