Here's a Review: A reader reviewed her book Malice in the following manner; You must read Jennifer Jaynes’ new book, Malice! Dr. Daniel Winter is an up- and-coming pediatrician and newly married but has a dark past. He grew up in a not so great situation and has struggled with alcohol overuse and trust issues with women. His wife, Mia, is gorgeous and almost seems too good to be true. At the busy pediatrics office where Daniel works, his mentor (and owner of the practice) is heavily promoting a new immunoceutical called Respira. Actually it seems like every pediatrician in town is promoting this new drug. It is supposed to eradicate the common cold and prevent many other illnesses that are caused by colds. Daniel starts to notice that some children receiving Respira are having serious side effects. When he goes to his boss he is quickly told to drop it. However, he does not. The scary part is that other doctors who have questioned this new drug have met untimely deaths! At the same time all this is going on, Daniel is questioning his wife’s motives for marrying him and if she is faithful. Mia has a lot of secrets that Danie does not know about. This book was on another level comparex to Jennifer Jayne’s previous books. It was very fast paced and I loved the medical and vaccine information in the book. It is a very timely thriller as vaccines are always up for debate with parents. I specifically enjoyed this book because I work at a doctor’s office and her descriptions of conditions and the culture of the medical field were spot on. There were several shocking events toward the end that surprised me but added depth to the overall story.. This is a definite must read for thriller lovers. It is perhaps no coincidence that in her book, Malice the whistleblower of the malfeasance she describes is murdered.
