Everyone has family photos and images of things and nobody is stupid enough to worship them... we all can differentiate between the two. “In the water” so, we can’t have images of fishes either? Or photographs or paintings of anything by that logic. But they continually ignore the other commandment: “love thy neighbor”. Do they also pluck out their eyes or cut off their hands due to sin? Do protestant women wear veils on their heads when they pray? So many scriptures glossed over by protestants. Cafeteria pick and choose which ones to take so “literally”... which is not really even literalism... Their hatred goes so deep that they won’t even pray the recommended prayer given to us by Jesus because it’s “too Catholic” for them.
