Okay so I know this will sound about as whack as this thread, but...

Every time I get a flu or viral infection I get really sick compared to other people.

I was really sick a couple weeks back and strongly suspect it was corona (cough, 39°C fever, pneumonia in both lungs).

Of course Canada is only testing people who have travelled or who live with a suspected case.

However, I feel like a million dollars now.

I think it's probably just from the usual benefits of a viral infection. The immune system kicks into overdrive and attacks everything. The extra white blood cells wipe out random things. In addition, I refuse to take Tylenol and always let the fever run.

So, I think, between the fever, inflammation, new white blood cells being produced, it's kind of like an immune system which was bored with nothing to do hitting the gym and getting built.

I don't think it upgrades your DNA though.

If you do some digging, there was a conspiracy theory that postulates exactly what you describe. Rather strange.
