I came here in 200...2007??? It was about five or so years after 9/11. I was looking for theories on aliens and time travel and it led me here. I found a thread on John Titor.

I don't remember what year.

However, I remember clearly WHY I joined.

I joined to tell the truth about TWA 800. It was shot down by a pair of missiles fired from a US Navy sub.

It was a test of a new weapon system that allowed subs to defend themselves from aircraft.

I was briefed on the program before it went black.

When the tragedy occurred, I knew EXACTLY what happened.

It was an accident. The 747 was flying well below its assigned altitude.

Plus, the missiles had a new sensor that was designed to go after the largest solid object in the sky. Sensor worked as designed, ignoring the target drones and going after the 747.

A tragic engineering mistake.

However, the real crime was the complete cover up by the US media and pols. They were afraid the accident would affect the upcoming prez election.

Lesson for newbs: NEVER TRUST THE MEDIA OR GOVERNMENT.

Our current ELE is more proof of that.

I showed up here after another prophecies. Website in the (us) was shut down...guess around 15 years ago or so.

So I came to mock them and say "oh i see how we ALL are and how nasty we are supposed to be! I remember something about this being a way to communicate with yourself if you were aware of reality repeatedly collapsing and resetting. Time line convergences. Like we're being updated with patches. Or revisions to a book.

Some days everything feels like a trick question on here.

I know what you mean DC, that original ‘coarseness’ was a little harsh but that was indeed the draw.

It is more user friendly now, I know it was more ‘dynamic’ back then & as you rightly say, when there was some acceptance here it was like finally being accepted by the school bully.

But that was a problem, for some of us it suited it was fab, but it was just too inaccessible for too many, it led it to become an club for the few’ & in that situation a forum will ‘always’ be run by the few strong characters & that’s ‘not’ a good thing, a forum ‘must’ maintain control from the seat at the end of the table.

I noted this mainly because after my first kicking out I went somewhere to see what was going on & my writing style & board attitude walked me in there like a ‘course’, ‘ignorant’ & ‘hostile’ contributor.

That was what I ‘had’ to become to fit in here & that’s just not me.

It’s different now but better, it could have been left as it was but it would eventually have been its downfall, creates so much hate that eventually ‘power in numbers’ will bring you down.

Now it’s more balanced, more accessible to new contributors & a better place for most. But........ now it’s more difficult to manage as the line in the sand was drawn & the bar raised, now to maintain that level is a very precarious task.

Lol. This comment is a good example of what I was talking about.

Previously whole I5p’s would be binned, now it has to be ‘tolerated’, but it’s better this way.

I met the apparently infamous Zakk and found myself here. Quite the rabbit role that was and theres some semi interesting stuff on here.

For any that care, he is actually really good at pool and I have picked up some useful tips from him.
