Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78576165 I'm in SoCal and in the last 3 weeks we have plenty of everything. Even TPs and paper products are back on the shelves. You might have to go out on your own to get your supplies. Stores seemingly can't fulfill the online orders but if you step in the store they have most. :) The way Instacart works is that a shopper who works for Instacart (not the store) goes in and fills your order. There is no difference between me shopping and a shopper for Instacart shopping. It isn't really an "online order".... It if they are lazy.. they won’t look for substitutes. I stopped using H-E-B pickup when half the things I ordered were not filled... then my daughter calls from inside the same store an hour after I got home to ask me if I needed anything and 7 out of the 8 things they did not fill were either on the shelf or there was a perfectly good substitute. Toilet paper was the only item they were really out of. Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |
Blonde Mom User ID: 78837328 United States 05/23/2020 01:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We have used Instacart to try to buy food at Heinens, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, Target, and Aldis. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76320280 So many items which we tried to purchase were unavailable that we had to cancel the orders, except for Aldis. At Heinens we ordered 15 items and the only thing in stock was a package of Thomas' English Muffins. Everything else was sold out. The shopper said the store was practically bare. Milk and eggs are consistently sold out everywhere. I don't think it's because of the holiday. Milk and eggs are not party food and many people are still quarantining. There just seems to be a shortage of food here. Is anyone else experiencing this? the white cities have plenty of food. looks like black people are getting starved into extinction. . |

Colorado has plenty of food. I bought 8 Ribeye from King Sooppers and everthing was fully stocked, tons of milk and eggs. 1/3rd stock on TP. Everything looked like pre corona. All normal. Were a quarter to a 50 percent Mexican now though depending on where in Colorado, so definately not majority white |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28000765 Cleveland has gentrified to the point most joggers now live in the inner ring suburbs. Good. Build a wall around the joggers and cut of the water along with the food. |

I found that using the deliveries I was always missing several items. I went to the store and found what I was looming for. It could be that things are just starting to be available again. I have to go to a few stores to get it all, but it's nice having supplies available again. Hope it last. |

The supply chain methods, with the inherent weaknesses revealed by COVID, became the "thing" during the Clinton Admin. It's called "Just in Time", and prior to the Clinton Admin, it was not a thing. Libtards doing what libtards do best -- weakening us, and making us vulnerable. While I am all for bashing the Clinton's or all things democratic, it is probably misplaced in this case. Just-In-Time arose out of the Toyota Production System in manufacturing and has been applied to everything from retail to manufacturing to healthcare. So it was coming to the food supply chain regardless of who is in the White House. The real question is, should it be allowed in critical infrastructure? As a prepper I see it as tragic, almost as dangerous as the state of electrical grid. In my past I used to rub elbows with the Lean gurus on a daily basis, and would comment on how just-in-time was a civil defense planners nightmare. They would just look at me glassy-eyed with blank expressions. I wonder if they are finally starting to understand... Blue Horseshoe loves GLP |

A city dwelling Jogger family moved to our country paradise because of a new job for Daddy Jogger and thought they would build a home. It burned while still under construction..........twice. He kept the job, but has to commute 90 minutes from their previous house in the city. Yeh, it’s like that. |
