I dont have time to study these issues to cast an informed, carefully considered vote lets see ... how long should I study an issue and consider the consequences for a CONSTITUTIONAL AMMENDMENT ? a few days at least, really more like a week or 2 then again, do I even have sufficient education or intelligence to understand a question of policy and law at THAT LEVEL, of the constitution (for a state) ? its ridiculous ..... meanwhile in 2018 Florida passed constitutional amendment giving restoring to felons the right to vote on the ballot it said that before voting rights would be restored they'd have to serve their sentence and pay all fines and fees guess what ? courts just struck down the "fines and fees" part ... shouldn't that invalidate the amendment ? would voters have passed it if it had said, restore voting rights whether they've paid their fines and fees yet or not ? |
