Why did the Hebrews reject, even oppose their own savior?

If some hippie looking savior dude started gathering all the youths and drop outs and lefties.. took them up into the hills for preaching and stuff and your kids were gone for days..

Jesus said He is to be "honored".

1. Jesus NEVER said "pray to me" NOR "worship me".
2. Jesus NEVER said "pray to / worship" a "trinity".
3. Jesus NEVER said "pray to the Holy Spirit" NOR "worship Holy Spirit".
4. Jesus NEVER said to pray to ANYONE other than the Father.
5. The Holy Spirit NEVER says "I am _______" or "you shall ________". Only Jesus and the Father say such.

You did not provide a verse of Jesus telling anyone to worship the Father.

I'm thinking they didn't like the fact he walked into the temple told the money changers their sacrifices were an abomination, then proceeding in overturning their tables.

Good original situational awareness but remember the hustlers were only in it for themselves, no?

One more thing I want to add..

The Hebrews had courts and judged, but the priests decided he was guilty before even going to court. They didn't want the truth to come out in court, where evidence of scriptural fulfillment could be explained, they were certain he was evil and guilty of crimes even before trial. They sought witnesses to show that the words of Jesus didn't fit their understanding, or their agreement. It was a kangaroo court.

They lusted after control, (Jesus said they seek obedience from others and not the obedience from God), and those spirits are still around today in all the churches of every denomination without exception.

You did not provide a verse of Jesus telling anyone to worship the Father.

The Pharisees did not believe Jesus was the son of God and yet still we deny him as the son and have made him our God. The antichrist is the illusion so great that "it" will be used to spit out lukewarm "Christians" in so much that if it were possible even the very elect could be fooled. Taking the mark of the beast is the unpardonable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Those who believe in the rapture, praying to saints and/or worship Jesus as God are in great danger of taking the mark. Believe Jesus and believe his Father sent him!
