Subject A and B kept arguing and escalating.
Subject A did verbally threaten subject B, that is breaking the law.
Subject A did strike subject B's car, that is not a threat to oneself at that point but it is breaking the law.
Subject B did pull out a gun, which is a threat to Subject A.

Subject B would have been better off to keep backing up and driving away, even if she ran over Subject A.

When she exited the vehicle and pulled out a Gun, Subject B now also broke the law, because if she was truly in fear of her safety, she would have never exited the vehicle and would have ran them over.

Subject B could have called the cops once in her car and told Subject A that the cops are on the way.

Not to be rude, but if you allow them to physically grab you, you'd better not try to pull your gun lest they take it from you and shoot YOU. To safely use a firearm you are supposed to maintain 6 feet of distance between you and your attacker if possible. Once they've physically got you, you're toast and just as likely if not more likely to be shot than they are if you try to pull a gun.

Well, I guess that's all well and good if it is a 1 on 1 fight between 2 people of the same gender, age and physical ability but that's not exactly what we've been seeing lately is it? What we are dealing with is sneak attacks by large groups on lone targets or heavily outnumbered targets. If it IS 1 on 1 it's a young adult male vs a 92 year old woman with a walker. I don't blame people at all for pulling their guns and think they should have legislated protections for doing so when faced with these types of situations.

The only thing I noticed in the video is : as the man is moving to the front of his car, the woman calls him a racist. He’s flustered and he starts by saying, “You know why I’m racist? Because...”. I’d have go to back and listen to the rest of his comment, but he did say it. So the university most likely fired him just from that comment alone. If I mis-heard him, please tell me what he said but unfortunately, he said it. We do not have freedom of speech in america. The dean of nursing; same thing. Her comment in that email said that black lives matter, all lives matter and people should not be treated differently because of the color of their skin but also by what they BELIEVE. Something to that effect. There was nothing in that woman’s statement that was cruel, wrong or untrue. She got fired. This is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. We are neither.
