The one you refer to as the "fallen Prince" wasn't always fallen. and before he was fallen he had the freedom of heaven and earth. His down-'fall' was the first lie, told to Eve, and that was the turning-point, the beginning of his new career and identity, as "the Devil", "Satan", "Liar and Father of the Lie", "Man-slayer when he began" ["began" to lie, that is.]
