Re: What Is A GOOD Food Choice FOR A STRESS-FILLED BREAKFAST?
Green smoothies 5 days a week for breakfast!! (kale, spinach, a banana, wheatgreass, spirulina, chlorella, kelp powder). Tastes really good, and you cannot eat anything healthier! Make healthy decisions = feel good. Make unhealthy decisions = more stress, physically, spiritually emotionally, mentally, etc.
The real trick is to learn to think critically; ask better and more questions. Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things.

High protein if you’re not eating. An omelette with veggies and toast, very light to none on grease or butter. My stress “breakfast” is Mexican food. Spicy, peppers, yum! It gets your blood pumping.

Protein is good. Try some duck eggs and sausage or bacon. Some carbs to give immediate relief. Hash browns, toast, or maybe some grits as "comfort food".

Now I'm gettin' hungry!
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

In Spain, breakfast beverage choices in cafes include beer, wine, coffee. Wine seems pretty popular.

Gooey cinnamon rolls, a hardboiled egg with keens hot mustard and salt with a Stout. Now that would be a brekkie!

Re: What Is A GOOD Food Choice FOR A STRESS-FILLED BREAKFAST?
Stay away from any animal products. That increases your inflammation and will increase stress on the body.
Fibre will make you feel full and grounded.
Oatmeal is always excellent for breakfast. Use unprocessed oats cooked with water.
Put some fruit in it, like bananas and strawberries. Add sunflower seeds and pumpkin (which are excellent for the brain and a great source of protein). You could add a bit of maple syrup if you need to, but not too much. Sugar adds to inflammation as well.
You will feel better.
Also, start meditating when you wake up. You can look mindfulness on YouTube. But the simplest one is just following your breath in and out for 10 minutes right when you wake up. When your thoughts wander bring your attention back to the tip of your nose, and your breath.
Give yourself good affirmations. I am safe. I am grounded. I am healthy.
Meditation, yoga, and a whole foods plant based diet are the keys to being very healthy and very calm.
Avoid meat, dairy, eggs, sugar, processed foods, alcohol, cigarettes, drugs.

Try Fasting and reading the Bible instead.
 Quoting: wattsun

Reading the bible will definitely induce stress.

Fasting definitely disrupts behavior... add the two together is a combo that will make your morning crappy.

Re: What Is A GOOD Food Choice FOR A STRESS-FILLED BREAKFAST?
If you are really stressed out, it tends to upset the stomach and can even induce diarrhea. I recommend you go easy on caffinated coffee and drink some green tea. Take a bath instead of a shower and put some epsom salts in it. Scrub with some better quality soap and maybe some sugar to remove dead skin cells.

If you can't cook or want to teach the kids to cook, you can poach an egg in some water that has a tad of salt and vinegar in it. Use a slotted spoon to remove it and eat it on some homemade bread if possible...never eat that low quality white bread that morons eat. I don't know what that garbage is. It is nothing like normal European bread.

You can heat a skillet, and take a piece of homemade bread, use a small juice glass and cut out the center. Butter it, and toast it in the skillet, and drop an egg in there. That egg in a hole is a good simple breakfast a kid can learn to do for themselves with minimal supervision. It makes flipping it easier.

To teach kids to cook bacon, get some kitchen scissors and have them cut the bacon in small pieces and fry that. That cooks easier and evenly.

Re: What Is A GOOD Food Choice FOR A STRESS-FILLED BREAKFAST?
Eat a cooked breakfast during winter. Raw foods are difficult to digest during the colder season and are not in season. You can enjoy leafy greens when they are harvested in the spring. For now to reduce your anxiety try oatmeal or toast. Enjoy a latte with heavy cream. The fats help to stabilize you energetically.
