Nellis AFB is where Area 51 is located. It's very possible this massive military presence is due to an escaped alien.

They would not use C-17 or C-130. If the military were going to help with the distribution it would be shipped by civilian handlers.

The Military is big on logistics. They may be used to distribute the vaccine to major key points, such as Military Bases. Then commercial aircraft would be used to distribute to major/minor metropolitan areas. They would then be unloaded onto commercial freight carriers for distribution to Hospitals and other key distribution sites...

That would be very refreshing.
