Nothing like giving people time to scrub everything and make it perfect, then act like they run that way everyday so the inspector can show up and say "hmmm, nope, I don't see anything wrong here." First of all, they shouldn't be there. Secondly, they need to bring back old school logistics where military members were self sufficient in feeding their troops. After 9/11, a whole lot of corporate contractors came on board. I remember back in the 70s, going on post and getting a burger cooked & served by AD military - as a dependent. When I was AD, stationed at a NATO base in Europe - we had Belgian chefs preparing our food. Point being - at one time troops actually had cooks that cook for their platoons/flights - it was efficient, it was good and it worked. |
