Elfsong User ID: 54845146 United States 11/05/2022 03:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My Halloween plans: Quoting: Seekingtruthandhonor -buy lots of chocolate -don’t go anywhere -light up a joint -eat all the chocolate ———- ———— What are you guys doing for Halloween? Sounds like you'll have a grand ol' time. Enjoy! I've nothing specific planned. Well, Halloween went off without a hitch. Had a neighbor help put together some of the props this year. He was surprised that he was actually enjoying working on the props. Then, that night, he helped put up the display: three dragons, one cat, one singing pumpkin, skull and chain fence (to keep the kids from hopping over the brick wall to get close to the dragons) head stones, the Sorcerer and the candy table. After that, we took a break and he jokingly asked if I was sure that we were going to get any Trick or Treaters because it was a Monday night. Then, 5:30 pm hit and they started coming... and coming ... and coming. My poor neighbor was keeping the fog machines running, the candy bowl full and staring at all the children and parents that showed up... we went through 4 bags of the 300 pieces of candy. We even had one mother show up in a Barney Suit. Of course we led her into the display so she could have her picture taken with the Dragon. When we dropped the display at 8:45, we still had people racing up in their cars ... trying to get pictures of their kids with the dragons. After we were done and everything was in the garage... Dan asked me what we were planning for next year... I am still working on that one. working with Positive Thoughts will result in Positive Outcomes. |

Awesome but tiresome, we tend not to go so hard here in Aus, in the past I've had some pretty epic Halloweens with decorations and tiredness though. We had a few trick or treaters show up though. The three dragons and sorcerer sound interesting, non 'standard' decor. Hope you all had fun! :) Coz reasons, probably. Elea tel'Taur GDMD |

I will not do the 'Horror' of Halloween. the Magic of Dragons and Sorcerers and singing pumpkins.. so no Zombies, Werewolves, Vampires, and bloody parts.. the children love it. They are not afraid, and the parents love bringing them by. working with Positive Thoughts will result in Positive Outcomes. |
