My Husband grunts a lot when he's in the bathroom on the toilet. Should I be concerned? Sometimes he's in there for a half hour.

He takes his tablet in thier too, I told him it wasn't healthy to sit for too long straining and reading stuff. I'm not sure how I can get him to stop it.

It's like I am potty training a 2 year old. SMH chuckle

Grunting is not good. It will lead to medical problems. He needs much more roughage.

He’s fine. He’s hiding from you. Stand at the other side of the door and nag at him continuously until it clears up. Call me in two weeks for a follow-up. Next.

Not sure then.

Maybe become a crappier cook so that he stops slamming so many bran muffins in his cake hole?

Eat less processed food
Eat more fibre
Eat prunes or anything with sorbitol in it, it helps the gut/colon retain water which will soften the stools
Get on probiotics, take them EVERYDAY (I was trying to find you a supplier that I used in the USA years ago (they were the best I could find at the time) but I cannot find them ATM.
When sitting on the toilet, gently rock forward and backward on the seat, you'd be amazed how much this can help

More extreme: Get a colonic, then go on a heavy course of probiotics. and do the suggestions above

Happy crapping!!

2 table spoons of NOW brand, whole psyllium husks per day.

Mix it with 8 ounces of water. Mix it with some tart cherry juice concentrate for flavor. (ESPECIALLY, if he experiences gout attacks)

Drink it quickly after mixing.

No more half hour bathroom trips.

No more crap stained underwear.

He is masturbating. Probably sexual addiction. Try talking to him about it, he will probably get angry at first, it's a deep wound. Be calm and patient and don't judge. If you can break through this layer you can take the relationship to a deeper level. Good luck.

Toilet is great place to relax in privacy. Does he take a smart device or reading material with him?
