Its because SHIB is an ETH based token. So its all run on the ETH network. Fees for ETH are retarded high.

ERC-20 tokens run on the Ethereum blockchain and they do have higher fees (Gas Charges).

Shiba Inu is an ERC-20 token.

OP if you're not trolling or just trying to shill for whatever coin, learn about ETH. Plenty of posts here in your thread telling you where to learn about Gas Fees.

ETH 2 , L2 etc...big changes right around the corner to mitigate this but it's something we all live with for now.

ETH has very high gas fees, so it makes no sense to move small amounts of ERC-20 tokens where the fee can be greater than their value.
