I have a little money, a small inheritance from my Mom after she passed. But it's going fast because I lost my job because no jab for me, and employer made it mandatory. I live well under my means, it's just all regular bills eating it up (house payment, utilities, etc etc etc). I've been applying like crazy, I went trough 5 interviews with one place and did a code challenge they said I aced (I am a programmer), and still didn't get the job. Getting a decent job is like running for president. It's ridiculous the hoops they make you jump through, I was waiting for a congressional hearing on that last job before they shut me down. I guess I can throw away 20 years worth of programming experience and just go work at 7-11. I've never been out of work like this, worked since I was 17. At 51, it's a really weird experience. I'm trying to think of something to do/make on my own, for my own business but coming up blank. If anyone has any ideas, hit me up! I can make anything. And F' COVID and vaccine mandates, we have our own company lol.
