Thinking about getting one for a bad back, and the more I read the more I am thinking the treatment is pretty good...

I tried the one at LA Tan, went everyday for a month, didn't do anything for my health or my skin.

Re: Anyone tried Red Light Therapy?
I bought the handheld laser for my feet. It seemed to help but it was slow and tedious.

Then I bought the red lighted slippers and used them for about ten minutes before bedtime every night. Easy, and warmed up my toes so the Peripheral Neuropathy was less painful.

It is not the quick-heal I had hoped it would be but after a year of dedicated use, I think I am much better.

Re: Anyone tried Red Light Therapy?
I tried it at a Neurologist... did not notice anything. Think it is all Hype.. so they can sell you something and make money.

Describe your pain specifically.. cause.. intensity.. location.. which limbs it impacts and how much..

Plus what you have tried that worked and did not help.

If you want better answers.. ask better detailed questions.

Re: Anyone tried Red Light Therapy?
The tried far infrared in my amethyst bio mat,Profession mat recommended by My acupuncturist had wanted to try hers on me and we finally did. I was pain free for an hour and then more and more time. My husband said if that gave me even an hour of pain free a day it was worth it to get a personal loan and get one. It is by the Richway Company. It helps my back, legs, arms, bursitis, kept my shingles at bay and they were very mild, that was a goodness. Even my dog lays on it for the arthritis in her front limbs. It has been a miracle for me and I advise it for everyone. The Richway Company Biomats and has been around for a long time. Check it out.
It has changed my live and can't say enough good things about them, mine specifically also has 30lbs. of amethyst in it. Never thought I could be pain free for hours now.

Thanks I want it for bulging discs in my back primarily but the more I read the more it seems the stimulation to the cells causes a release of melatonin which your body uses to fix problems when asleep. Personal one isn't cheap though!

It seems to be a scam, I've seen YT vids of this guy plugging them, it's an MLM the way they're sold and grossly overpriced. How can light heal you? Don't do it! You can just use a YT video of a red screen: instant free red light. Try that first.

Not true. Red light - 660 NM or longer does have biologic effects that enhance healing and restoration. Near IR is good if between 800 and 1200 nm, but longer wavelengths than that will be blocked by H2O absorption.

There are plenty of scams, but there are also plenty of NIH papers detailing real results from peer reviewed research.

YMMV.

You don't need to spend a lot. Just avoid the ads and buy the proper wavelength LEDs. DIY your own driver circuitry. Do your own research and make your own choices.
