Driving home on a country road, I saw a Pepsi can flopping in the ditch beside the road. A 6 foot long black snake had put his head in, and couldn't back out. I still don't know how it didn't suffocate. Any way, it was lucky for him/her that I had tin snips, and cut it loose. For a few seconds after it was free, it raised up like it was passed off, pretty intimidating, but it went on its way. That would have been a shifty way to die.

Awww that's was such a heart warming story.

Almost made me cry.

I had a 3" turbo downpipe in a pile of pipe I was scrapping. As I was about to throw it in the truck it felt heavy on one end. I looked in it and there was a small box turtle wedged in there. The flange kept him from exiting the pipe and he couldn't back up. I had to mortar the poor fellow back out the way he came. I brought him inside and gave him a lukewarm bath to get the mud off him and offered him some spinach. He wasn't keen on eating and looked in good health so I set him back in the area I found him, sans pipe.

Love the markings on his shell!

Those looked like coyotes, disjointed video and might just be fake and made to gain clicks.

I love a good animal rescue but this video didn’t deliver.

And when the boys came out to play...
