Maybe in the form of a VR interface? Then it would be like splitting our universe into two and we can go back and forth between universes via a VR interface where we control avatars in the opposite universe where are normal bodies are?

Will it be a sub universe simulated reality? or maybe some weird paradox time loop where our simulated reality we create here will cause a Big Bang in the future that creates our universe in the past.
