Let's face it, this place is tiny, and it sucks. It sucks sooo bad.

And man is stupid, smelly, greedy, violent, petty, and has to take big nasty shits every day.

Come on! Haven't you ever wondered why physical existence sucks so bad? Or why God would want to have intimate fellowship with hairless apes that have ruined the planet with their presence and do such evil to one another unceasingly?

I'm not mocking. I'm just asking why Earth is barely an island, and why if we're made in God's image, we're such pitiful and disappointing creatures.

The “made in God’s image” part of the text you’re referring to is a tragically ignorant mistranslation. That reference actually describes mankind being tended to and raised by “God”, as one would a beast of the field or a very small incapable child. Taught and reared by “God” (originally, as in the first man was), but not made in the image of. Research it yourself.

Our purpose while in human form here is to learn to grow up, evolve to higher consciousness with greater benevolent maturity, and ultimately make this young world a better place.

We willingly took on this amazing challenge with great passion when in our true home.

We just don't remember while here, exactly the way we wanted it. Otherwise, there would be no point of having this challenge.

The caring and compassionate God is pure unconditional love.

We are made in God's image, the image of love.

Love is our true nature, not the false nature that is the ego which knows not of love.

God is neither human looking nor have immature human attributes.

As Nikola Tesla had uncovered, to know the secrets to the universe think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.

Love is not just an emotion.

Love is a powerful multi-dimensional quantum energy that exists in the smallest of the small and the biggest of the big, in all energy planes at the same time, and everywhere and anywhere at the same time.

We humanized God to look like us and behave like us, having immature human attributes such as anger, judgement, retaliation, punishment, and superiority.

Can't sell too many portraits, statues, and souvenirs depicting God that is in truth invisible intelligent benevolent love energy!

I know why...you disobeyed when things were good.

Now you exist in a world where you must harvest energy.

And when a certain being came along and made things easier for you. You still complained and killed Him.

HE keeps giving you chances. You always think you are smarter, steal what was His, and you realize it's too late.

Well, I don't know which other magical planet you are thinking of that the earth pales so badly in comparison with? Read the Bible with an open heart and mind. It says many times that this world is evil because of the curse of sin and that man is destined to a bleak future without divine intervention.(I'm paraphrasing in the last half of that sentence, btw). However we are not without help, thanks to Jesus' sacrifice.
Anyways...Get out in nature once in a while. Look up at the sky. Play with your dog or other pet and love your family as well as your fellow humans. Laugh at some silly jokes with a kid. Listen to great music, look a great art or read some great poetry/literature. It's not all bad. Try getting in touch with the Lord (aka "prayer"). What he has for us will truly amaze you. St.Paul said our time on this earth is like the flickering of a candle. Very brief- compared to an infinite eternity, of course.

Pretty obvious one there. The real challenge is to fix it, existence, the planet, treatment of each other doesn't have to be so grim, yet there's a real bucket of crabs mentality among the hairless apes.
