I worked at one of the strategic national stockpiles next to the DFW airport during college 10 years ago. Lots of medical supplies and such from contracts with the CDC. Nothing strange just the CDC people would come in quarterly and be lazy about the counts. Biggest noteworthy thing was there was a huge shipment of anthrax vaccines that was sent to the wrong place and couldn't be returned because of the refrigerated packaging wouldn't keep them cold for return trip so they were all destroyed wasting lots of money. There were body armor and AR security at all times but nothing ever happened. |
