I remember. It was March 2019 and the 737 Max was crashing everywhere but the FAA said it's safe and effective.

Basically Boeing invented a new engine that was more fuel efficient but it was larger so instead of building a new aircraft for it they just stuck it on an old 737 and told the engineers to fix it with software because it was unstable.

The engine was so big it would actually drag on the ground so they had to mount it in front of the wing and up which is not a design at all but just let's see if we can make this crap work philosophy.

There is a whole conglomerate of entanglment in industry and goverment in which we are not privy to their plans but I have lived long enough to see that what they say and what they do are two diffrent things....they appease and placate and offer hope of a better life while taking actions that harm many Americans. They have to because if we REALLY knew how they manage our tax dollars, the 2nd Amendment would be enacted and that is why they had to have Jan6th and if anyone thinks Trump was not aware (I don't think it was HIS plan) they aree likely just not willing to either look at the evidence and facts or they have TDS (people who are so pro or anti Trump ALL have TDS, imo). People give him waaaay to much credit one way or the other and that is the plan, imo, to keep us fighting and distracted while they do what they are really setting out to do....time will tell.

BULLSHIT! Boeing's 737 MAX planes had issues going back to 2016 where they were periodically grounded; but when they began regularly crashing under similar circumstances, Trump ordered a full investigation and was ultimately told by Boeing SCEO Dennis Muilenburg that those planes were safe.

Even so, Trump ordered the FAA to ground them anyway beginning on March 13, 2019, and within one week ALL of those craft were out of the skies even though it impacted 59 airlines worldwide and affected 8,600 flights per week... and cost Boeing millions every day.

As it happens, I'm writing this about 1/2-mile north of Boeing's Wichita, KS, plant and those grounded aircraft impacted us locally too, since all production was immediately halted even though they had dozens already being assembled... and those workers were sent home for several weeks until a full in-plant safety evaluation was conducted. It was all over the local news for months.

And all 2019 summer long as I'd I drive the frontage highway that skirts the plant I counted 22 empty fuselages loaded onto flatcars on Boeing's railroad sidings, their bright lime green paint undercoat shining in the sun. And the factory production line was filled with dozens of others in pieces.

Finally, on October 30th, Boeing CEO Muilenburg was hauled before Congress to answer some heavy duty questions and he again lied through his teeth as he'd done to Trump seven months before.

On November 26, the FAA revoked Boeing's ability to certify their own aircraft. On December 17, Boeing formally pulled the plug on all 737 MAX planes and took a huge loss as a result of that lost production.

And on December 23, Boeing CEO Muilenburg resigned.

And guess who helped shove him out that door? That would've been Trump!

The next time you try to craft a little revised history, you'd better check your facts waaaaay better, Sport!

No but I remember Ethiopian pilots who were too dumb to figure out an auto system override.

Actually it was initially claimed that those crashes were due to under-trained pilots but that proved to be a Boeing smokescreen to mask the plane's deficiencies.

But, congratulations on believing that well-spun bullshit!
